What is 6-color Indichrome?

Indichrome is the HP trademarked name for their 6-color process that is identical to the 6-color hexachrome process on a conventional press. Violet and orange are used in addition to cyan, magenta, yellow and black. This allows for a broader range of color reproduction and enables 6-color reproduction of more PMS colors than the traditional CMYK 4-color process.
