Lead and Delivery Time Expectations
This page gives a brief summary of the printing and mailing process from order to delivery. Custom jobs might have variations
as will be discussed by your sales rep.
Business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern.
Orders are fully complete once the customer files have been uploaded. Uploading files can be done any time by simply logging in
to your account and clicking on 'Upload'. Orders completed after 2 PM Eastern
are considered to have been completed on the following business day. An order completed on 3 PM Eastern on a Friday
is considered complete the following Monday.
Proofs will be ready in 2-3 business days after order completion. Proofs are typically ready in 2 business days provided
there are minimal to no problems with the files. 99% of received files have issues that delay proofing, you can prevent
delays by following some simple file preparation guidelines
For PDF proofs, a notice will be sent to the customer email address. The notice contains simple instructions for retrieving your proof
in a few mouse clicks. After you carefully review your proof you will request changes or approve it online. Once approvals are received
for all proofs, the clock begins to tick on the turnaround time for that specific product. Approvals received after 2 PM Eastern are
considered approved on the following business day.
If you opted for Epson UltraChromes or a Canon imagePRESS proof for a digital job, your proofs will be shipped 2-3 days after order completion.
You must sign the proofs and return using the return shipping label we provide. Once we have received the proofs back we will begin production.
After approval your job then goes into production. Production turnaround times, in business days, are listed on the quote page for each product. Once
production begins we will ship your job by the end of the turnaround period. If yours is a direct mail job, it will be delivered to our
mailing and fulfillment department.
When ready to ship, your job will be picked up by our daily UPS truck. Larger jobs may be sent by freight if warranted. Once shipped,
you will receive an email notification of the shipment containing a link to our site to track the shipment via integrated UPS tracking
information. Transit times vary by destination zip code. You may see all available UPS service levels by entering your zip code on any
product quote page. A time in transit map for UPS Ground Service is also available below.
Once received from print production, mail jobs are typically inducted (or 'dropped') into the USPS in 2 business days.
